On January 8th, 2019, I lost my best friend.
I was asked to perform a song at her memorial service.
I wrote one instead.

To the survivors -
I hope this brings you comfort in times of loss
and remembrance.

To those who may be struggling -
Do not hesitate to reach out for help when you need it.
You are loved more than you know,
and are irreplaceable beyond measure.

Livy - Here’s to you.

Here’s to your life, your light, your love,
your endless radiance and beauty.

May the world forever know you
and the mark you left upon so many of our hearts.
I love you always.

xo, - Bella

The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado (SPCC) was formed in 1999, when concerned citizens set out to create a statewide agency with the purpose of preventing suicide and creating a resource network for those who were working to prevent suicide around the state. Today, SPCC’s membership of concerned agencies, organizations and individuals who are working in the areas of suicide prevention, intervention and postvention has statewide reach.

SPCC works with its network of organizations and individuals to ensure everyone in Colorado has access to the best resources, educational opportunities and advocacy efforts. The mission of the SPCC is to reduce suicide and its impact for all Coloradans through advocacy, collaboration and education.

If you or someone you know needs to talk about suicide, substance abuse, economic worries, relationships,

I love you more than Kanye loves Kanye

Liv made a mixtape for me the summer before I left for college, full of all the songs we used to listen and dance like crazy to. I wanted to make it a public playlist, as I feel it goes to show, even in just a small fraction, who Liv was and how she absolutely radiated positivity. Listening to these songs feels like a message she left behind to hold onto, and every time I hear them, I hear her singing right along with me. I hope you can find your own piece of her in them, too.
